Congresswoman Julia Carson of Indiana's 10th district has
an 86% environmental score for 2000, according to the League of
Conservation Voters. She is a member of the House Committee on
Banking and Financial Services and of its Subcommittees on
Financial Institutions and Consumer Credit, Housing and Community
Opportunity & International Monetary Policy and Trade. She is
also a member of the House Committee on Veterans Affairs and of
its Subcommittee on Health. In addition to her good record on the
environment, she has an impressive progressive record on in-home

support, Medicare, Medicaid, tobacco, women's issues, affordable
prescription drugs, home health services, family planning,
seniors, affordable housing, Social Security, guns, safety,

arts, credit card reform, Patients Bill of Rights and on many
