Congresswoman Anna Eshoo of California's 14th district has
a 100% environmental score for 2000, 1998, 1996, 1995 and 1993,
according to the League of Conservation Voters. She is a member
of the House Commerce Committee and of its Subcommittees on
Health and the Environment and on Telecommunications, Trade and
Consumer Protection. In addition to her sterling environmental
record, she has an impressive progressive record on information
technology, health care, Medicare, Social Security, affordable
prescription drugs, insurance reform, United Nations, civil
rights, human rights, safety, education, population issues,
peace, children's issues, women's issues, veterans, nuclear
weapons, foreign policy, disarmament issues, biomedical research,
mental health, East Timor, Patient's Bill of Rights and on many
