Congressman Robert Andrews of New Jersey's 1st district has
a 100% environmental score for 2000, according to the League of
Conservation Voters. He is a member of the House Education and
the Workforce Committee and of its Subcommittees on Employer-Employee
Relations (Senior Ranking Democrat), Postsecondary Education, and
Training and Lifelong Learning, He is also a member of the House
Armed Services Committee and of its Subcommittee on Military
Research and Development and of its Special Oversight Panel on
Morale, Welfare and Recreation. In addition to his recent
sterling environmental record, he has an impressive progressive
record on labor, education, health care, student loans, senior
issues, affordable prescription drugs, women's issues, hate
crimes, Medicare, safety, Social Security, human rights,
transportation, census, Equal Rights Ammendment, civil rights and
