Congressman Jesse Jackson, Jr. of Illinois' 2nd district
has a 100% environmental score for 1999, according to the League
of Conservation Voters. He is a member of the House
Appropriations Committee and of it's Subcommittee on Labor,
Health and Human Services, and Education and of it's Subcommittee
on Foreign Operations, Export Financing, and Related Programs. In

impressive progressive record on education, government

choice, campaign finance reform, prescription drug subsidies,
seniors, a health care system of equal high quality, more

affordable housing, monopolies, fair taxes and fair tax cuts,
accurate census, science/technology/internet, police brutality,
