US Senator Ron Wyden from Oregon has a 100% environmental
score for 1999, according to the League of Conservation Voters.
He is a member of the Senate Budget Committee, the Senate
Commerce, Science and Transportation Committee (3 subcommittees),
the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee (2
subcommittees), the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee
(1 subcommittee) and the Senate Special Committee on Aging. In
addition to his recent sterling environmental record, he has an
impressive progressive record on health care, consumer
protection, education, Medicare reforms, transportation, aging
and seniors, Senate reform, prescription drug coverate,
agriculture, housing, Managed Care Reform, Oregon Health Plan,
Internet Tax Freedom Act, Juvenile Justice Bill, drug abuse,
global warming, real Balanced Budget Ammendment, tobacco issues,
technology issues, science issues and on many other issues. For
