FUTURESAVER OF THE WEEK ENDING 3-4-2000

Norman Solomon is executive director of the Institute for Public Accuracy, the author of Media Beat (a nationally syndicated column on media and politics, a longtime associate of FAIR and writer of op-ed newspaper articles for the Boston Globe, Washington Post, Newsday, New York Times, Miami Herald, Los Angeles Times, USA Today, Baltimore Sun and other papers. He has written nine books and is an excellent public speaker. Solomon has a knack of cutting through the fog of corporate/political propaganda and dredging up the jewels of reality. He knows that when police beat up and pepper spray nonviolent demonstrators and videographers of reality, they are acting as the enforcement thugs for a corrupt corporate/political order. He also knows that our international bombing crews are acting as enforcement thugs for the corrupt international corporate/political order.
