Congressman Sherrod Brown of Ohio's 13th district has a 100% environmental score for 1998, according to the League of Conservation Voters. He is a member of the Progressive Caucus, the Ranking Member of the House Commerce Committee's Health and Environment Subcommittee, a member of the Commerce Energy and Power Subcommittee and a member of the International Relations Committee and its Asia and Pacific Subcommittee. In addition to his sterling environmental record, he has an impressive progressive record on access to affordable health care, women's issues, Medicare, Social Security, affordable prescription drugs, workers, trade agreements, children's issues, campaign finance reform, education, Patient's Bill of Rights, science and technology, public housing, violence, World Trade Organization, human rights, foreign policy, safety, transportation, civil rights, Universal Health Coverage, Medicare coverage of prescription drugs, tobacco issues, libraries, drugs, community, prisons and on many other issues.
