Doctors Without Borders/Medecins Sans Frontieres won the
Nobel Peace Prize for 1999 on October 15, 1999. DWB/MSF is the
world's largest independent international medical relief agency.
They work in over 80 countries wherever medical aid is needed
regardless of race, religion, politics or sex. For being the best,
most independent and most compassionate provider of medical aid
where it is most needed, Doctors Without Borders/Medecins Sans
