Congresswoman Patsy T. Mink of Hawaii's 2nd district has a
100% environmental record for 1998, according to the League of
Conservation Voters. She is also a member of the Progressive
Caucus, the Education and the Workforce Committee, the Sub-Committee
on Postsecondary Education, Training and Lifelong Learning, the
Sub-Committee on Early Childhood, Youth and Families, the
Government Reform Committee, Ranking Member of Sub-Committee on
Criminal Justice, Drug Policy and Human Resources, Sub-Committee
on Government Management, Information and Technology, Chair of
the Congressional Asian Pacific Caucus, Co-Chair of the Education
Task Force of Democratic Caucus, Congressional Caucus for Women's
Issues and Congressional Travel and Tourism Caucus; Democratic
Regional Whip. She has received numerous awards and has been in
numerous publications. In addition to her recent sterling
environmental record, she has an impressive progressive record on
