FUTURESAVER OF THE WEEK ENDING 7-31-99

Congresswoman Corrine Brown of Florida's 3rd district has a 79% environmental record for 1997-98, according to the League of Conservation Voters. She is also a member of the Progressive Caucus, the Black Caucus, the Women's Caucus and the Human Rights Caucus. In addition to her good environmental record, she has an impressive progressive record on children's issues, education issues, labor issues, community issues, civil and human rights issues, corporate issues, fiscal responsibility, social responsibility, senior citizens responsibility, medical responsibility, veterans responsibility, tax justice, trade issues, racial and ethnic issues, family issues, transportation issues, affordable child care, foreign policy issues, sexism issues, technology issues, war and peace issues, reproductive health issues, voting reform, gun issues and on many other issues.
