Julia Butterfly Hill is the Earth First activist who has
been living atop Luna in Humboldt County California for over
fifteen months. She has said, "The hope and beauty of our
future is deeply rooted in love and respect for all life...The
corporate entities and the political power that walks hand in
hand with them has an extremely loud voice because it's taken a
lot of the power from the people...We want our power back...help
us provide a sustainable future..." For committing the
highest sacrifice for the longest time for the best of causes,
Julia Butterfly Hill has been named Futuresaver of the Week.
