Nadine Gordimer is the South African who won the Nobel
Prize in Literature for 1991 and she has won many other prizes
and awards. She has impressive accomplishments as a political
activist (one of the earliest white members of the ANC), novelist,
short story writer, literary critic, article writer, speaker and
lecturer. She has great insight into what makes good societies
good and bad societies bad. She has great insight into the body
of human literature and great insight into how to write
impressive new literature. For expanding the envelope of human
