FUTURESAVER OF THE WEEK ENDING 8-29-98

Stanton A. Glantz, Professor of Medicine at UCSF, with the help of John Slade, Lisa A. Bero, Peter Hanauer, Deborah E. Barnes and with the reported help of Merrel Williams, bashed the cigarette industry with documented reality of their duplicitous drug dealing which resulted in mass addiction, mass sickness and mass death. The tobacco industry fights back by buying politicians, lawyers and everyone else corruptable by big gobs of sick money. Many US Senators, US House Members, state officials, former state officials, judges and others have prostituted themselves before the God of big tobacco money. When the sick profits of this sick industry have been brought under control and politicians, et al are no longer bought by big tobacco, we will have a chance of living in a free and civilized country.
