business and human
performance practices with an ability to inspire the heart of employees.
In November of 1994,
Wendy became one of the founding directors of RETREATS Inc., a Human Performance
and Training Services company. The company specialized in team development
and experiential, adventure-based training. In 2000 she co-founded Continuum
Consulting Services, LLC. Wendy consults on a regular basis with BlueCross
BlueShield of NC, Research Triangle Institute, Regency Housing and many
other Research Triangle Park companies. She also serves as adjunct staff
with the Center for Creative Leadership, J. O Rogers and Associates, Duke
University Delta Consulting and is an active training partner with the
Triangle Learning Consortium.
A strong belief in
the principles of Servant Leadership motivates Wendy to give her talents
back to the community. She currently serves on the Board for Allied Churches
of Alamance County, and has just completed a reorganization of the agency
using the Appreciative Inquiry process. Her storytelling character, The
Camp Lady, makes regular appearances at local schools and scout troops
and teaches children about protecting the environment, personal empowerment
and the importance of volunteerism.
A graduate from Slippery
Rock State University, she continues her education with University of
North Carolina - Charlotte, and is a graduate of the Organizational Development
Certificate Program and is a qualified Myers-Briggs instructor. |
