A group of school children playing outside the school hall. This is a popular area for playing ball games such as hand ball etc. Monday afternoon assembly is held inside the hall, and art groups are also held there. The school hall is also used for special functions like the annual variety night and presentation day. It is also hired out to various special interest groups - it is used regularly as the dojo for a local martial arts club and a religous group holds their meetings there also. |
This scene is to the right of the hall. The building in the background behind the covered corridor is the tuck shop The two children in the foreground to the right are walking towards one of the demountable classroom blocks on the southern side of the building square. These classrooms are used mainly for the senior classes. |

This picture shows the other demountable classroom to the right of the one above. The grassed area that the children are walking on opens out to an expansive playground area. This area can be seen in more detail later in this tour. |

Two of our teachers on playground duty escape the heat of the day underneath a tree and umbrella. |
A view of our wonderful grounds facing east. Despite having a relatively small number of pupils (enrolments for 1998 were 263) Beverly Hills Primary School is fortunate enough to have one of the largest school grounds of all state run primary schools in the city. The entire grounds on this side of the school are fully turfed and numerous trees provide comfortable shaded areas. It truly is a pleasant environment for our children to enjoy. |

Another view of our fine grounds, taken this time from behind the tree at the left in the previous image. This one was taken facing roughly south-east. The area below the clump of trees in the background on the right is seated, so is consequently a popular spot for eating lunches and snacks, or just resting in the shade. |
This shot is taken from roughly the same spot as the previous one, but this time facing south. The seated area below the trees is now on the left in the background. |

The bell has sounded and the children are now back in their classrooms. This shows the open playing field beyond the seated area and down the hill. The taller buildings on the horizon to the right are in Hurstville, which is the local council area for Beverly Hills. |
This is taken from the bottom corner of the school grounds, which can be identified just above the center in the background of the previous photo. The fenced off area to the left is also the school's property. It is currently being used by the Department of Main Roads (DMR) whilst roadworks at the intersection of King Georges and Stoney Creek Roads are being completed. |
