First of all, I beg to differ! Russell doesn't "have" IT, Russell "is" IT!! And I think it's because the sheer complexity of his nature and his talent let all of us relate to him in our own special ways, and it's all wrapped up in the sexiest, most masculine, adorable package to come down the pike in years!! I think it's the dichotomies that draw us to Russell -- the Bad Boy who loves and takes care of his family, the wonderful sense of humor wrapped up in the bar brawler, the "whiskey, silk and smoke" voice and the vulnerable eyes, the complex psyche and the down-to-earth values, the brains and the brawn! Russell Crowe: The It Man

As Clara Bow was the It girl of the roaring 20's, Crowe is the 21st century's It man. His soul comes across on screen and through his lyrics. He's gruff and strong, yet compassionate and quick to grin. Crowe Fever hit me the second time I saw "Gladiator". The film is glorious from start to finish. The entire cast is mesmerizing and the music must win the Oscar. Its a powerful score.

The internet and ebay made it easy to research this actor, Russell Crowe. I learned about the other films and the fan sites. The TOFOG Tickets went on sale. I ended up attending both the Aug 4 and the Aug 18 concerts.

I met so many inspiring ladies of all ages. Some were on the RSCTA board or the Perch. Others I met via eBay. Many were changing things in their lives! Crowe's Maximus Characterization had exploded in women's heads and inspired them to be their best despite all odds. I have seen Gladiator a dozen times. Even watched it in my Driskoll hotel room on Aug 19. I never tire of that film!!

Crowe and his band were absolutely mesmerizing. Mel Gibson never effected me this way!

Crowe is reaching out to the audience...First by his incredible ability to convey emotions and depth without speaking a word. His ability to convey masculine prowess and even, menace and yet at the same time seem so gentle with women. How does he do THAT? Well, he's free! He has this incredible ability to just try anything...I mean, his choice of roles...skinhead to homosexual and everything in between. As he said of Dave Wilkins at the TOFOG Aug 18 concert, it applies to him, "he has balls the size of canteloupes".

Crowe's Songwriting is absolutely charming, especially when performed live with introductions. It is as if he is one on one with each audience member. Who can do that? I saw the man grin and wink and 4 rows of women nearly faint, and SWEAR afterward that the wink was specifically to them.

Oh, yes...he is the It man for the 21st century... and like, Sid being created in Virtuosity...I have had the pleasure of watching this amazing career blast off.
