Balthasar Hubmaier registered at the University of Ingolstadt. He had moved here to be near his mentor, Johann Eck. (Go to September 1512 below.)

Balthasar Hubmaier received his Doctor of Theology degree from the University of Ingolstadt. Shortly thereafter he was appointed Professor of Theology at the university and vicar of the Church of Our Dear Lady. (Go to 1515 below.)

Balthasar Hubmaier was elected Prorector of the University of Ingolstadt for the academic year 1515-1516. (Go to January 1516 below.)

Balthasar Hubmaier abruptly left his position at the University of Ingolstadt and moved to Regensburg to become preacher at the cathedral there. His reasons for leaving before the end of his tenure are unknown.

1517

Hans Denck began studying at the University of Ingolstadt. He spent 2 years mastering Latin, Greek and Hebrew. (Go to 1519 below.)

1519

Hans Denck finished his university work and left Ingolstadt for Regensburg.
