Asafoetida(Ferula fetida) - Exorcism, consecration, overcome opposition,
psychic protection, release/endings.
Benzoin(Styrax benzoin) - Purification, often used in Christian church
incense blends, exorcism, knowledge/wisdom, love, protection, cure selfishness. Used in Byzantine
Rite Roman Catholicism and Eastern Orthodoxy.
Camphor(Cinnamomum camphora) - Purification, home or Temple cleansing, exorcism,
used with evening meditation produces prophetic and divinatory dreaming.
Copal(Busera odorata) - Love, purification, uplifting, contact other planes.
Dragons Blood(Daemonorops draco) - Uncrossing, potency, protection, consecration,
honesty, love, shape-shifting.
Frankincense(Boswellia carterii) - Astral strength, psychic centers, third eye,
protection, purification, gives Leo's balance. Kohl [the black powder] is made from charred
Frankincense, or other odoriferous resin mixed with Frankincense. Used in Latin Rite Roman
Catholicism. `warm ~pungent, bitter ^liver, heart, spleen
Labdanum(Cistus ladaniferus, C. creticus, C. ledon, C. laurifolius) - Incense
of the Black Sun. Correspondant to Onchya used in Temple Incense.
Myrrh(Commiphora myrrha) - Hex-breaking, meditative, healing, compassion, protection.
Olibanum(Boswellia thurifera) - ref. Frankincense.
Opoponax(Opoponax chironium) - For palliating hysteria and hypochondriasis.
