To the Editor,
I have been following the recent articles from Tyler Young in The News Record and felt compelled to right in my opinion. The subject of his writings have many emotional aspects. Where do we draw the line between right and wrong? How do we discern from loving the sinner and hating the sin? I once asked someone that question and I got the answer when you move from truth to hate. I will admit to being adamantly against homosexuality. However, that does not mean in any way that I hate anyone who chooses that. Proclaiming to be against something does not mean hate. The Bible says that we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the darkness of this |
The only thing I hate is the devil for planting the thoughts into people's minds.
He is the author of confusion. It is then up to us to listen or ignore the thoughts
he plants in our minds.
Besides the Bible, all we have to do is look at the issue physically. Man and women were designed to come together. Without this union, the human race would cease to exist. Homosexuals will say that this is something they are born with, not something they choose. I myself was talking one day with a friend who is, and they asked me why I think they would purposely choose to enter into something that would bring them pain. I can't answer that all the way. I have never claimed to know all the answers. I do know that many were led into the lifestyle through a lot of pain, usually in their childhood. |
