To the Editor,
Why does the issue of homosexuality have to be one of right and wrong?
It seems to me that there are two schools of thought as far as homosexuals
are concerned, either it's a choice, or it's genetic.
If homosexuality is a choice, then why are we berating homosexuals for their
choice? It's their decision, let them live with it.
You can go about your day and make your decisions about mocha fudge ice
cream and whether or not to watch Ally McBeal, and they'll choose to be
gay.
On the other hand, if it's genetic, let them live their lives how they were born
|
and get over it. Just like most people don't like others laughing at that unsightly
birthmark, or making racial slurs, or comments about so-and-so's religion,
homosexuals don't want to be bothered by ignorant slobs who don't
understand what they were genetically predisposed to do.
Either way the shoe drops, just leave it alone. You aren't forced to be gay,
and no one will ever force you to be gay. Just go about your day talking about
peace, and love, and happiness, and then practice what you preach.
