However, are more holy wars fought in the names of Abrahamic religious groups, than any other ethnic belief or traditional faiths on this entire planet. Does the theology of a single god helps in human salvation? Does the belief in a single god aids in World Peace? Does the single god believer fought because others also fear their single-god?
Holy wars i.e. Crusaders, Jihad Fighters and Freedom Defenders are millennium old. Cults and Fundamentalist are making use of religious belief to brain-wash believers to die in the name of their religious leaders, prophets, patriarchs or even the messiah.
Nothing is more powerful than the power of the mind. If you are indoctrinated to think so; You rather die to believe it is so... And that's dangerous! Until one day, you will regretted the truth is not so ... and it is always most painful when revealed.

Religions themselves were fables or stories that ancient people translated into biography of their own lives. Fables are passed down by words and mouths, eventually produce into text. Of these, many regards as revelations coming from leaders who had communicated and understood God or gods. In this way, the text it becomes authority, giving rise to :
The Bible says...Natural Science were original religious until 300 years ago. Many ancient scientists were branded blasphemous and were jailed or executed. Since then science and religion came apart as ways of exploration. More than three-quarters of the world's population belong to a religion, however little do they understand about it nor correctly practise it. Does religion goes against science and hinder scientific progress or science hinder spirituality and cause downfall of mankind?

Religion means many things to many different people which often contradict each others. Some may consult medium or witchcraft for wisdom, while other will burn them alive on the cross. Some claimed souls are created by God and they are a permanent entity, while others denied soul and creator theory. Some believe creator were in seven , while another claim only one. One may profess God is in three, another believe as aliens.
Some religious ritual required to shave one's hair, while another must keep them. Some encourage celibacy, another allow four wives or more. One must abstain sex during menstruation, another to do it for purification (left Tantric) during menstrual. Some abstain all meats, another accept seafood only. One may refrain pork, while another beef. Many venerate on images statues to seek tranquility, while another will destroy these images as they are considered satanic, in material the calm looking images.
Religions can be extremely dangerous. People will die and kill for their religion. That is why, religions are involved in most of the bloodiest and intransigent disputes till modern times. Worst are those who convert others forcefully; fighting crusades, holy wars or jihad. For two monotheism we had known, were been massacred and forced converted are Zoroastrianism and Ba'haism by other monotheists.
Atheistic religions are more tolerant than Semitic faiths. None had we hear of wars fought in the names of Confucianism, Buddhism, Jainism and Taoism. Though it is says that all religions teach Love, Peace and Harmony. However, only atheistic religions had carried out Ahima (non-Violent) in good name of their faiths. Hence they were massacred, fled or forced into conversion by the other religions since ancient times.
