April birthdays.

When month of April comes around,
Great men’s and ladies’ births abound,
Not all, of course, with same astound,
But yours and mine surely keep their ground.

Many a birthday seen come and go,
Yet only lately significance tend to grow,
No reason therefore to feel low,
As long as one and all are always on the go.

Yours & theirs engraved on friendship’s slate,
Belatedly yes, but not all that late,
Can’t see why the long wait,
To enshrine your feeling to me as if of faith.

Dear friends, allow me now to conclude,
Or else I drone without preclude,
Happy birthday, dear Arians, but not to exclude,
In my wishes and regards want all others to include.
