School is the appropriate place to develop an educational process towards "How to live together" properly.
Curricular contents enrich and give sense to the different reflective spaces and analysis of behaviours, always recognizing that the first and most important educational element is the family.
Communication is the fundamental principle of human relation, that is the reason why before sanctioning a pupil, a very conscious dialogue, aimed at reflective thinking about the fault, is carried out by school authorities. Formation in the dialogue should be permanent, giving great importance to it as institutional model trying to develop self-respect and respect for the others.
The word "Convivencia" (Living together) is not meaningless, therefore, it is not reduced to the discipline code but to a group of relations which should lead us to a harmonious work between adults and adolescents. Due to this belief, orientation periods have been created. Orientation teachers are elected by their pupils, and have, within the school timetable, the chance of listening and analyzing group or individual situations.
There is another instance of fluent communication through the "Mediator Pupil".
Once a month the Deans of both sections (Spanish-English) get together with the mediators of each group and talk about their worries, ideas and projects.
The triad is the graphic representation of communication.

The end of High School generally faces pupils with a vocational crisis. The adolescent must make one of his/her first big and important decisions. The Orientation Department organizes meetings with specialized people and visits to Universities and Tertiary Level Institutions, to give information about the educational future possibilities.
The orientation cycle is closed with a personalized follow-up, which helps pupils to make up their minds about their future studies.
