History
Greenwood College initiates its activity as Bunnyland, "English Kindergarten", in March of 1968, created by Mrs. Dianne Marie Hug and Anne Marie Fleming. Their activities were centred in the education of the English language, and the transmission of the values of the English culture.
In 1982, Greenwood College Primary Bilingual School is founded, continuing with the same spirit Bunnyland had.
In 1993, the constant restlessness of the two educators, and the community's necessity about the school continuity, cause the creation of the Bilingual Secondary Section.
Up to December of 1998, the three levels of education were located in the facilities of 1956/1970 Conesa St., in the district of Belgrano R, in Buenos Aires City, Argentina, conformed by two main buildings, and three minors ones.
In January of 1999, in order to grow in all senses, we moved to a larger building located at 1222 / 1238 Crámer St., Belgrano R, Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Today, we are in conditions to offer our students more comfortable classrooms and playgrounds, modern equipped science and computing laboratories, special rooms for audio, video, art, and music, a complete library, a cooking classroom, a dining hall and a snack bar, as well as a big assembly hall for Drama activities, where the Concerts will be performed.
Most of the students come from the district of Belgrano, and belong to families whose expectations are put in the personal and intellectual formation of their children; for that reason Greenwood is growing, not only to be a big school, but to be a Great One.
