From the age of four (K4).
Carpentry, and the use of tools, are fulfilled at the age of four towards the second school term. It favours the development of the ocular and manual coordination, and an acceptable organization of the motor functions.
The children could be asked to help fixing objects in bad conditions, and which they are able to repair.
Observing, comparing, predicting and solving are skills that can be developed through science.
Children can explore through science activities with a focus on developing important thinking skills.
By charting and recording information, they also begin to make connections with the printed word and enhance their communication skills.
