Opportunities
Volunteers make a difference! Connecting through volunteer service is a powerful way to bring people together to help solve many problems in the community. Every effort counts, has impact, and everyone's help is needed. The possibilities are endless--- Networks of Southeastern Ohio is here to assist in matching those interested in volunteering with a meaningful volunteer opportunity. Check out a few opportunities that are available:
Basic skills tutor: Volunteers are needed to listen to children K-4 read, help them sound out words, and give encouraging prompts such as 'try it' and 'good job.' Training is provided. One hour commitment a week is preferred.
Leadership: Assist with coordinating events, paint a school, organize a food drive, or be a member of a task force.
Hotline Operator: Volunteers are needed to answer busy phones.
Food server: Prepare lunch, dinner, or assist in delivering meals to the homebound.
