me and ballet...
I started dancing about fourteen years ago, when I was five...and I love it!! I'm in the R.A.D. system, at the Advanced level, if that means anything to you. Every year, our school puts on The Nutcracker at Christmas time, so I've had much experience on stage, as well as the annual spring performances that vary from Alice in Wonderland to Swan Lake and Sleeping Beauty to modernistic ballet choreography. Just for detail's sake, I'll also share that I wear a size 16 repetto pointe shoe, 204s. I started pointe a bit late, due to being small, so I'm now in my sixth year.

My favourite ballet is definitely Don Quixote. I love the Spanish style of it, as well as the music, and playfulness or the choreography. Next favourite would be.... well, any of Tchaikovsky's three best... I love Sleeping Beauty, but the music to Swan Lake is amazing. And who doesn't like The Nutcracker?
