MARGARET GIBSON
Margaret Gibson is the author of seven books of poetry, including Icon and Evidence (2001), Earth Elegy: New and Selected Poems (1997), The Vigil (1993) (Finalist, National Book Award), Memories of the Future: The Daybooks of Tina Modotti (1986 co-winner of the Melville Cane Award from the Poetry Society of America), and Long Walks in the Afternoon (1982 Lamont selection of the Academy of American Poets). She lives in Preston, Connecticut.
