"Before they call I will answer; while they are still speaking I will hear." Isaiah 65:24

In Isaiah 65 God describes the new Jerusalem (new heavens & new earth) and what he wants it to be for his people. In the above verse he expresses what to me, is amazing, that he can't wait to do things for us... I get an image of him sitting on the edge of his chair just waiting for us to express our heart, a need, whatever and before the words are fully formed he springs into action. The only thing I can think of to help me grasp that is, when there is someone in my life that I appreciate or want to do something special for. I listen and watch their lives until I see a need or find something they really love and then I'll try to meet it or get it... what I'm trying to communicate at that moment is that they are loved, appreciated, honored & respected by me. To think that God feels that way about me, about us, is pretty amazing and humbling!!
