Do you think magic has more power if design all the details and *stick to the script*? Can sponteous spells have power? How about rituals? Can some be stronger if you use ones that have been used by many others? Can such ritual contain power beyond your personal power, having some power attached to them by the others who have chanted those same words through time? Or is your personal direction of power the more important ingredient?

For me, going with gut instincts is more important. I may start from a pre-scripted ritual, written by myself or someone else, but if I feel that now is the time to light the incense, chant, etc, rather than the pre-appointed time, then I go with it.
