Jury and her sister Kenia, came to the orphanage from a very desperate situation. They were living with their widowed grandmother as the mother had abandoned the children and the father is in prison. The grandmother had to work from morning until night cutting lemons in order to support herself but still that wasn’t enough as it wasn’t steady. She also had no one to care for the children while she was gone.
