What would you do if all the sudden you have three, four or five
computers in your classroom? What would you do if besides the
computers you have access to a TV, a VCR, a cassette player (or
maybe two), and an old overhead projector? Its time to be creative
and use your imagination! Its time to put all this technology
together! The result will be a switch in the way your class has
been taught until this moment. This is the shift that sooner
or later will occur; from the traditional classroom to the technology
classroom.
Even though this seems challenging, you will need to understand that your students will benefit from your effort. It is definitely a challenge to start something new and unknown by many of your co-workers. This is the time to look for professional information about others that have been experimenting with this; read about their experience and listen to their suggestions. Planning and organizing your ideas will be the first step to follow if you are trying to have good results. Once you start doing this and you and everybody see the improvement in the quality of instruction, probabilities are that others will want to do it. What about becoming the leader on this field? Just teach others what you have learned so they can start working on this as well.
