Location: Left Bank adjacent to Fort Loncin (right flank) and Fort Flemalle (left flank).

Mission: Protect approaches to the western plains.

Configuration: Small triangular, type A1, B1, C1, D1

Bombardment of the Fort: Bombarded the 16th from 0430 to 0720.

Condition of the Fort: Some damage to the counterscarp wall near salient I. No other evidence of damage.

Condition of the Weapons: All weapons were in working condition.

Morale of the Garrison: Bad, especially after the explosion of Fort Loncin.

Food and Supplies: Good.

Water: Good.

Electrical Power: Good

Ventilation: Good.

Latrines: Good.

Causes of Surrender: 16 August, 0725: Cause of surrender was poor command and morale after the explosion of Fort Loncin.
