I'm a member of the Society for Creative Anachronism Inc. , a group that re-creates the European Middle Ages. In that group I explore heraldry and armored combat in the style of a high Medieval Tournament. I also am involved in producing webpages (Webminister's position). I currently am living in the Barony of Seleone (Mississippi Gulf Coast, USA), in the Kingdom of Meridies.
I'm working on a few theories on Gate construction for SCA wars. The photos I took while at Pennsic XXXI are located here.
I am an avid Home Brewer. I enjoy creating ales, meads, and wines of various sweetness, alcohol content and flavors. I've written a number of articles on brewing, some of which are included on my brewing page. This is a wonderful hobby - I love the fact that brewing is such a living activity. I get a real rush from watching the yeast take off and convert the sugars into alcohol! They sure to go at it with a vengeance - perhaps that's why I identify with them so well. Some good links to brewing are The Association of Brewers in Boulder Colorado (my home town :) and the Real Beer Page.
Along with these active things, I'm an avid reader and music fan. For books in Guam, I make extensive use of Amazon Books on the 'Net. For music, I'm really fond of CD Universe.
