Incarnation of Goddess
Luna
Goddess of the Moon.
A polished silver cymbal hangs above the table in this shrine. A striker made of ash and rubber leans against the prayer rail. The cloths covering the table are black and silver with crescent moon designs. Behind the Book a large, polished Moonstone orb glows in the candlelight upon a tripod of silver.
Written in the Book are these words:
Luna: Goddess of the Moon. Goddess of Magick. Goddess of The Path. Goddess of Initiation. Goddess of Females. Goddess of the Wolf and the Black Cat. Goddess of Superstition. Watcher of the Night. Sister of the Sun.
Luna watches over the world She loves. Luna illuminates the Right Path to walk. Luna grants mortals the Power of Magick, and strengthens Faery Magick. Luna calls the Wild Ones to gather, and breaks the chains that bind the mind. Luna enhances and lets loose the emotions, and sharpens the senses. Luna presides over initiations, specially mindful of the coming of age ceremonies of women. Luna controls the cycles of Nature, of living beings, and of birth. Luna guides the dead on their Way. Luna holds the Wolf and the Black Cat special among all beings.
Luna is represented by the metal Silver, by the colors White, Silver, Grey & Black, by the shapes of the Circle, the Crescent & the Ball, by the music of the Cymbal & the Drum, by the female & male in Milk & Semen, by the foods of Cream & Cheese, by the gems Moonstone & Quartz, and by the magick of Water & Blood. Luna is heard in the Howling of Canines, and She is seen in the Madness of the Crazed, the Genius of Insanity, the Laughter of Lunacy, and the Peacefulness of the Serene.
