Incarnation of Goddess
Iris
Goddess of the Rainbow.
A large crystal prism hangs above the table in this shrine. Hanging cut crystals of all shapes and sizes seem to float in the air above all parts of this Shrine. There are many candles in this Shrine. The candlelight here serves to throw tiny, delicate "rainbows" randomly throughout the room. At times the whole Shrine seems filled with multi-colored lights. The cloths covering the table radiate curved color bands from one end of the spectrum to the other.. Behind the Book a prism rainbow shaped prism breaks the candlelight into the glow of the color spectrum.
Written in the Book are these words:
Iris: Goddess of the Rainbow. Goddess of The Path between Here and There.
Iris exalts in the Magick of Color. Wherever there is a rainbow, She is there also. Wherever light is transformed into the visible color spectrum -- there is Her Magick. She is the Guardian of the Path between the mundane Here and the magickal There. The Path She creates is the Rainbow. Traveling the Rainbow can bring you to the Realm of the Dead, to Other Dimensions, to Other Realities, and to Places of Long Forgotten Lore. She can be invoked as a Guardian of Internet Voyaging, as traveling Her Rainbow Bridge can bring you safely throughout the Void of the Internet.
Iris is a winged Goddess. She carries a Staff and is depicted guarding a Rainbow Bridge. Her Boudaries are not crossed without Her permission by anyone -- mortal or immortal. She is represented by the Color Spectrum, by the shape of the Rainbow and the Prism, by the music of the Harp, by all multi-clored gems, cut crystal & prism glass, and by the magick of the Wild Rainbow. Iris is heard in the Crystal Music of the Mind, and She is seen in the Rainbow.
