Incarnation of Goddess
I'lena
Goddess of the Rain.
Above the table hangs a large mirror in the shape of a raindrop. Solid glass baptismals stand on either side of the table. They hold holy rainwater for your anointment. Behind the Book on the table is a glass chalice that holds blessed rainwater.
Written in the Book are these words:
I'lena: Goddess of the Rain. Co-Creator of the Universe. Sustainer of Life. Animistic Spirit. Rain Woman.
I'lena is present whenever it rains and wherever there is water. She sustains life in all it's forms by granting the Blessing of Rain. She has the power to cleanse or to destroy. But even in destruction She grants the Water of Life to rebuild with. She loves plants, animals and those who work the fields for food.
I'lena is represented by the instance of rain, by dew & by falling water of any source, by the magick of glass, mirrors & anything clear, translucent or transparent. She is sometimes seen as a woman of mist dancing and laughing in the rain, or frenzied and howling in a destructive storm -- but more often She is the beneficent primal Spirit of the Rain.
