Hall of Goddess

You enter a large natural cavern lit by the stars of a thousand candles. At your left is a marble stand holding a brazier where burns pure frankincense and myrrh. On your right is a marble stand holding a basin of moon-blessed holy water. The incense smoke envelopes you lightly as you ritually anoint yourself with the holy water.

Looking around you see many cave shrines radiating off the perimeter of this cavern. Each is lit by candles so that you can see that they each contain a kneeling rail, a small table and some other objects. You cannot see much else at this distance.

In the center of this cavern stands an altar. It is surrounded by smoking incense pots and ornate gold candelabras. A multi-colored rug covers the ground around the circular marble altar. There are golden objects on the altar, and a sheen of power seems to surround it. You cannot tell any more from here.

The rest of the cavern is open and empty except for strategically placed candlabras that break up the darkness and give depth to your vision.
