The elements of an equation The Question Who needs an equation? Why people need to do small, abstract things, like equations? Why dont they just tell us a story? The Explanation Ive seen a movie made after a book, with my friends, couple of weeks ago Very disappointing experience! I loved the book, I made my own images out of it, I dreamt on its phrases, I created my own world populated with people, with the intrigues and with the "not said" things actually I made my own movie The movie on the screen didnt cover all I dreamt of couldnt; Im different from the scenarist or the producer or the main character movie star. The mind is different thats a fact. Even with all the common knowledge base, we, humans, continue to think and to act different. And its not only the problem of the society blanket (rules, god, a.s.o.). Usually, we call that "free will". So I exercised my free will and stayed with my dreamt movie instead of the screen one. But is it all? No, of course, was simpler for me not to mingle with other ideas even if they were possible interpretations. Other points of view. Yes is possible, but why make everything more complicated? Well thats the point. Keep it simple, let the people dream on it, make their own movie, let them keep their point of view, exercise their free will, keep their direction. Just make an equation. A simple one, an onest one. The Convergence factor For everything that we know of, duality is a standard. Theres no white without black, no good without evil, no matter without antimatter But why? Why must we acknowledge that there is duality in everything? People share something which is usually called common sense using it to denominate something that looks or feels right. Just right, not necessarily based on something. I think that this is the sense of equilibrium. Things must be in equilibrium, so it must be black and white, good and evil, wrong and right. In fact all of our moral concepts are somewhat like the double helix of DNA Equilibrium is the convergence factor. But what are the sides? Trying to keep it simple, lets find out from what a car is made and what is it doing. To have a car you need some matter like engine, wheels, bodywork and you need an information layout like where the wheels will be, where the engine is put, how the bodywork will be so a car is made from matter organized by a layout of information design. But a car, to fulfill its purpose needs a driver the driver needs the will to drive the car, and the means to do it some gas for the engine, roads to move around. A human is a car with a driver. It has some matter organized with the information layout in the DNA. It has a driver which is its mind and is using it to change all the time the "car" in which is sitting. By eating, running, learning, doing good things for its bodywork or bad things its changing it nevertheless as well its changing its mind how much? Until an equilibrium is made between what the body needs and what the mind wants. The equilibrium is never static. If I would want to state that: "1 = 1" is (in) equilibrium I would be deadly wrong. Because "1" is dead! If you think about entropy, you can state that. If something is not changing, than is surely dead. Shall I say "x = y" not really, because equilibrium doesnt mean that something is equal with something else. Few things can be equal and they are usually to simple to be considered on this level. Can a measure (length, weight, etc.) explain the complex relations between the body and the mind of a human? So lets try something else: X eq Y Where we can put X being the bodywork and Y the mind. Eq will replace the static equal sign. Lets do also some background work: 1 = 1 doesnt mean that "=" is forcing something upon "1"; its just stating a fact. "1" is dead, remember? Eq is NOT stating anything, it FORCEFULLY applies the NEED OF EQUILIBRIUM. The X and the Y are the ones who must change to acquire and to keep the state of eq. But as you all know, if you drop a ball from your hand on the ground it will bump a few times before it stops. (Lets say it will be in eq for the sake of what will come ) so, if eq is solid, just how much X and Y will "bump" until reach eq? Well, forever is a short
time
it will never stop bumping This is the nasty part. If you were to build a
castle out of play cards you wouldnt want to build it forever wont you? So I guess
that this ever-changing eq stuff gets on your nerves. On mine to. I tried to figured out
why
and then I saw myself arranging my papers on the desk. It wasnt the order
of the papers that was interesting for me but the fact that I knew where everything was
the control over those papers was what I needed. Probably thats why a
"bumping" cards castle doesnt accommodate
