The Warrior and the Spectrum are not the only publications to have
run Better Than Stick Figures. In fact, BTSF has been seen in
several other publications, including newspapers and on national
television. In the spring of 2002 Paul Hebert won second place in a cartooning
competition and his cartoon, that involved a kid being trampled after
school (used as a basis for won printed in the Spectrum) was printed in
the Schenectady Gazette where it received high acclaim.
In the fall of 2002 Paul was asked to submit a cartoon to the Grace
Lutheran Church newsletter Grace Notes. The small one frame
cartoon was published later that month.

In February of 2004 Paul was a contestant on the popular ABC game
show "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire." While there he was asked
about his cartooning and two of his cartoons, both of which had been
printed previously in the Spectrum (the "bite me" cartoon and the "do
not tap on glass" cartoon) were shown briefly on the screen.
Again, both were received with high acclaim. Later a cartoon about the
Millionaire experience was published in the University at Buffalo
Honors Alumni Magazine.
