Israel has no official pennant; as a
matter of fact no pennants are really in any use in Israel.
However, in two stamps a device which could
considered as a pennant included
in a stamp, and one of them, even together
with a stylized USA "pennant"
The first "pennant" appeared on the 8th
Independence day stamp which was
issued on April 12, 1956 and designed by:
M. & G. Shamir.
The "pennant" is hoisted from a flagpole carrying the national emblem on its top.
The second "pennant" appeared on a stamp
that was issued on June 23, 1977,
which commemorates the convention of the
Zionist Organization in America.
This "pennant" is combined with a USA pennant
making it the second time that a
USA flag appeared on Israeli stamp.
