Independent Learning Exercises.

For a change this week, it might be an idea to start developing a few more skills in Flash. Hopefully, you will have done a very simple exercise during the initial 'ghost story' exercise, so you will understand the basic principles of tweening and inserting an animation into a web page. If you haven't already done so, try out the inclusion of bit-mapped graphics into a Flash animation, and try some tweening effects on bit mapped graphics. You might also try the 'trace bitmap' command, and try some tweening effects on a vector version of a bitmapped image. You could use your newly-developed skills to design some graphics for the Heart of Darkness project - perhaps you could do something with a sunset, the passage from light to dark ... this is a key motif for the book, and is used with a powerful symbolism throughout.
