What is Music? |
___________________________________________________________________________________________________ | |
Music is the exquisite manifestation of art using different sound producing mediums. |
Different types of music occur at different places at different phases of time. It is not limited to the classical or concerto type, rather it also includes the contemporary, modern, and everything composed by alternative and professional bands/groups of any type of music (jazz, pop, blues, rock, R&B, etc.). Different compositions are only limited by the composer's range of knowledge and experiences. How good or bad any composition is depends on how the composer sees life. But, a true musically inclined person does not have any prejudice on any other type of music other than his liking.
As an extension of philosophy, every composer can put into musical notes whatever feeling he has in certain circumstances. It can be very serious, funny, rebellious, sarcastic, or whatever feeling or psychological state possible for any human being (which includes intelligently composed ones or even stupid ones). |
