| WC Kessler Orders:
Mission Assignments for the next phase of the Taylin Offensive can not be issued from the
Battle Office until we can get some hard reconaissance data. With this in
mind, Wing X Command has ordered that a Recon Mission be flown ASAP.
THUNDER Squadron, as Wing X's Recon Squadron has been tasked with flying this mission. The
mission is also available to any TIE Defender Flights from the
other five Squadrons in Wing X, for example: Tornado Squadron Flights II and III. Mission
Breifing is as follows.
BRIEFING
Recon patrols are to scout the area surrounding the Rebel Platform in the AM32 Taylin
system. All craft are to be inspected - refrain from engaging enemy
starfighters unless absolutely necessary. Upon completion of the Mission, ALL pilots are
to write a reconaissance report addressed to ME. I will forward the
Report to RA Stretch, VA Rapier and the Battle Office. Take special care to include
details of all possible ships in the area. What are their cargoes, etc... The more
details you can get into your report, the better. The next phase of the Offensive will
depend HEAVILY on the data that you Recon pilots bring in after this mission.
Current situation is assessed as dangerous.
