What is a community leader?
A community leader, in Geocities (hereafter known as "Geo") terms, is someone who helps out Geo homesteaders with their website needs, and makes up contest and projects that homesteaders can participate in, to have fun with the Geo community.
I'm a community leader, or CL, in Athens, my neighborhood. Each neighborhood has its own set of CLs.
What do you do?
There are many Athens CL projects. I'm a part of the Athens Academy, and I'm also the co-coordinator of the Athens Special Events Team. Right now, the Special Events Team is putting together a contest that will be open to everyone. We hope you can participate!
Who can become a CL?
Anyone can apply to become a CL! If you "live" in Athens, you can visit the Athens Atheneum, the official site of the Athens community leaders, to find out more. If you live in another neighborhood, you can track down a CL in your 'hood and ask them how you can become a CL.
