What is the International Church of Uncertainty?

The Church of Uncertainty is an organization devoted to the realization that we haven't got a clue what we're talking about. We hope that some day, man will learn the true extent of his own cluelessness. To that end, we preach our philosophy of ambiguity, misperception, and random vagaries. Our chief preaching is known as "The Philosophy of The Middle Path" and is detailed below. It is our hope that you will come away from this page a more enlightened, uncertain, and confused individual.

The Philosophy of The Middle Path:

The Philosophy of The Middle Path states that: It is usually better to avoid absolutes and/or extremes. One who keeps to the middle road, for the most part, and generally avoids extremes, will live an overall happier, more fullfilling life. However, choosing always to avoid extremes would itself be an extreme act. That is to say, not all extremes are bad, just most of them. Some things are ok all of the time, but most things are only ok some of the time.

We style ourselves the enemies of most things extreme, the purveyors of ambiguity, and the saviors of we know not what. We strive to bring a more moderate view to an all too extreme world. Join our ranks, it couldn't hurt.

True Understanding...

Confused? Good! If you are unsure of the meaning of the Philosophy of The Middle Path, then you are on your way to true understanding. The important thing is that you continue to be interested in this philosophy, even if you don't understand it. Like any religion, we do not require, or even expect, you to understand our meaning or our motives. Just as you should not require or expect us to understand our meaning/motives. The key is obedience, well, most of the time. You shouldn't be too concerned with adherence to the philosophy of the Middle Path. Zealousy is generally uncalled for, and often, too extreme a position.

The Church of Uncertainty page is new and it will take some time to complete. We will not set an exact date of completeion... well, we probably won't anyway, because that would be far too extreme. However, we will attempt to keep you appraised of updates in this page through the "What's New" section of PVC's Bytes Wholesales' main page.
