The Redwall Travelers Song-*****
Luckytail

A light, cool breeze runs through the grass,
all nature in springs touch
and in the air I hear the sound
of birds, crickets, and such
The sun is our protection
From rain and wind and snow
our love, it will surround us
wherever we may go.
Someday I'll dance with comets,
across the velvet sky,
someday I'll grow wings like birds,
and let them teach me to fly
But for now I'll be content
on such a glorious, young day
to feel the light upon me,
and chase the evil 'way!
The Mouse & the Fox-****
Luckytail

The battle call has echoed,
for swordbeast and corsairs
the time to which withdraw your sword
and exchange crosshairs
the arrows fall upon the ground
like rain on stormy nights
and the only thing that's glowing
is the burning of torch lights
the warrior mouse is standing
his eyes agleam like fire
only victory will quench
his overpowering desire
He sees his enemy in the darkness
a large shadow in the din
it will take all his strength and courage
for this battle to win
he unsheathes his shining sword
and raises it up high
and without a second thought
shouts a battle cry
his enemy accepts the challenge
and also draws his blade
and as he lunges through the air
the battle has been made
the evil captain matched him move for move
and smiled with satisfaction
he exected every cut
without any infraction
he sees his opponents few weaknesses
and tries his best to capitalize
he backs his foe against a wall
that must have come as a surprise!
And as he pushed his victim against the wall
and in such a most desperate place,
he was both angered and amazed to see
a smile upon the mouse's face
"And why might you be smiling!"
the cruel lord harshly demanded
"Because," said the still grinning mouse
"I'm really not left handed!"
and so he tossed his sword from his left paw
and caught it with his right
and so, with good upon his side
he fought with all his might
with all his skill and power,
the cruel enemy simply could not match
the daring of of the brave young mouse
whom he simply could not catch
the warrior fought as best he could
with revenge in his intention
and if you watched, you'd probably guess
there were some divine intervention
the tired ruler finally lost,
his sword fell to the sand
for the warrior mouse had booted it,
from his exhausted, weary hand
the young mouse circled the his victim
as the fox fell to his knees
and as he bowed his head down, he muttered simply
"please,
brave mouse do not kill me,
'cause if my life you'll spare,
I'll provide you with more riches,
further than eyes can stare.
I'll let you be my captain
with the best slaves and food
and provide you entertainment,
when your in disheartened mood,"
the mouse put his word below the chin
and said "Fox, you truly have a heart of stone
for making creatures like yourself
starve, while you sit upon your throne
and so I think death as a punshiment,
is far to good for you
so first, would you please recall your troops,
and I'l tell you what I'll do,"
the fox jumped at the chance to save his life
and ordered with no delays
for his his troops to surrender
in the most cowardly of ways.
And so the mouse continued,
"since you have lived a lazy life
and made others slave away,
while you just laughed with strife
I think it would be best if you
could see it the other way.
And so I declare you our servant,
you may start your work today
So now instead you'll be the slave,
and your old slaves your master
and if you hope not to be whipped,
you'd better constantly work faster
Fate of the evil-*****
Luckytail

My destinies a sad one,
And Im sure that it must be said,
I'm falling to the darkness,
further than most would fear to tread
the night is my my companion,
solitude my guide
Whenever my name is heralded,
creatures run to hide
they say that I'm a monster
and what they claim is true
for the remainder of my short life,
destroyings' all I'll do
my soldiers feign their loyalty,
they're like actors in a play
the second I slip up even once,
they won't fail to betray
The battle is tomorrow,
and in the battle heat,
but no matter which side wins,
its likely the devil thom I'll meet
so I sit in my room,
on this starry, autumn night
in just another moment
ill snuff out the light
of my life
Another Redwall Travelers-**** Luckytail

The sun comes out every day
the wind , it seems to sing
the beauty touches every creature
and every lake and spring
The flowers now have blossomed
The grass shines emerald green
a more amazing splendor,
I'll guess you've never seen
the sky is full of chirping
from robins, jays, and others
and all the chicks are restless,
'cause they're whining for their mothers
