Weeping Rose

Silky soft as a lovers lips.
White petals fall
to carpet the barren dirt.

The Mermaid's tears echo
The fall of petals.
White petals stained red by
tears from the sky.

White Roses weep petals
in shame and fear.
White Roses weep petals
to mourn the passing
of a virgin's soul.
