Paths and Beliefs
Everyone walk their own
Path.
There are many beliefs system to choose from. Today many people
form their own beliefs and don't bother with religion at all. And
to others the mainstream religion is perfectly ok. To each
their own. Beliefs and religions are as diverse as is human nature.
A lot of religious group will use many means to have you part
of their group, to believe what they believe is right. Religions*,
in themselves, are largely influence by human ego or perceptions,
social need and structure, politics and power.
"Different "religions" should be merely different paths people
chose to explore their own spirituality and growth. Instead in
our day and age, "religion" has come to mean different forms of
"power and control" and "codependency"." (quoted from Rev Pam
Jackson)
Many people past brought the message of Peace, Love, Tolerance
and helping your fellow human beings. They were Buddha, Confucius,
Gandhi, Jesus, Mohammed, and many more. Has the leaders of the world
learned anything? If the world is a reflection of the human psyche,
I would say we have a lot to learn yet.
Some people can't believe that any religion but their own can
be meaningful, fulfilling and true to its adherent. All religions
merge at their cores, and all are true to their respective adherents.
There can never be one religion, prophet, or savior that will satisfy
six billions humans. Each of us must find our ideal way to attune
with the Divine.
All religion merge at their core and the message is the same
in all: Love, the Golden Rule,
help thy neighbor. It's time we start living in harmony with each
another, with nature, and with the natural forces of the universe.
Fear and Power over others and nature are not the values we will
need to survive in the twenty-first century.
"All path lead to the top of the mountain"
