February already! It's frightening! I've hardly got over Hogmanay yet - of course, Hogmanay takes quite a bit of getting over.
Things are a bit quiet at the moment, but that's usual in February, and I could do with a bit of quiet, to draw breath and put a few things in order. And, of course, once you say that things are quiet, they have a habit of suddenly erupting ...
Cue for bad weather? It's been remarkably mild for February up here. I've not had to put the extra heaters on, and the beach is calm, quiet and beautiful.

Even as I write, Scotland is locked in mortal combat with its fellow Celts - not Gaels - Celts - Wales. I'm talking about Rugby Union, of course. The game started half an hour ago. It also snarls up the traffic throughout Edinburgh. I happen to live at the other end of the bus-route from Murrayfield (Scotland's national stadium for Rugby Union), and I actually set out to go and see Star Trek - Insurrection .... How I ended up in the cybercafe instead is a long story. But let me tell you, the rugby international was a primary factor!
